The Royal Pavilion

The Royal Pavilion is one of the landmarks in Brighton.
The Royal Pavilion was once a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV. He collected many Chinese antiques, and asked artisans to design and build a magnificent restaurant and a very professional kitchen, hanging lotus lights with dragons surrounded, luxury and quirky.. (most of the rooms inside the building are not allowed to take photos).

However, the Queen does not like it so much. The alleged reasons are not only because it is a bit small for her big family but also because its location is too closed to the high street to keep personal privacy. Every time when she and her family members want to go out, crowd after crowd of people surround them.

Yes, it is just next to the high street.

It later became a hospital to cure colonial Indian soldiers who fight for the UK during WW in order to promote a good relationship between them. It is a palace with many historic stories, oriental styles of India and China, and was rebuilt and expanded over time.

I visited it and then took the royal Cat home. Now I can claim that I live with a royal member-- a lovely black Cat.
